Welcome to Saxon Wood School
"Where learning has no limits"
Saxon Wood is an inclusive special school in Basingstoke, Hampshire for children aged 2–11 years old with complex medical needs, a range of learning difficulties and physical disabilities. We are a small school with only 44 pupils across 5 classes with a high staff : child ratio.
We are fully committed to the safeguarding of our pupils and expect all staff, volunteers and visitors to share this commitment.
Here at Saxon Wood School we put the child at the heart of everything we do and believe that learning has no limits. Each child receives a bespoke, personalised curriculum that is tailored to the child and their individual needs.
Our staff teams are highly skilled and work collaboratively to provide outstanding opportunities and maximise learning outcomes and life skills for all children to enable them to become the best that they can be.
